IT is indeed a pity that the names of drink-drive offenders caught by a very effective Christmas crackdown cannot be revealed to the public at this time. The Data Protection Act means that the police are unable to provide the BEN with this "list of shame". Fortunately, we will be reporting their court cases in this newspaper in due course.
