BACTERIA, germs and bleach are back on the menu this month as Bolton's 16 Health Centres challenge you to test your wits on food hygiene. Bolton Council's Environmental Health Services Food Control Unit and Wigan and Bolton Health Authority's Education Section have teamed up to put together a "Food Safety in the Home" exhibition. Information will be available on food hygiene from leaflets at the exhibition and everyone entering the quiz will be tested on a range of topics such as food storage and bacteria safety.

All quiz entries, which will provide valuable data to health education planners, will be entered into a prize draw where £25 Boots Gift Vouchers are up for grabs for the lucky winner.

The display was launched at Ashburner Street Health Centre by Chairman of Environment and Consumer Sub-Committee, Cllr Bernard Ramsden.
