THE Royal Bank of Scotland's Bolton Corporate Centre is holding its 3rd annual economic seminar on Thursday, February 4.

The guest speakers will be the RBS's Chief Economist, Jeremy Peat and his Deputy, Richard Taylor.

They will be speaking on European Monetary Union, its impact on business and the outlook for the UK economy.

The event, which will be at the Bolton School Arts & Conference Centre at 4.30pm, is aimed at members of the local professional and business community.

Mr Peat is a representative on the Bank of England's EMU Forum, attends meetings by European finance ministers and makes frequent television and radio appearances.

Mr Ian Kennedy, Regional Corporate Manager, said: "I am delighted that we are able to arrange such an eminent speaker for the Bank's seminar.

"Jeremy has a tremendous insight into the implications of the euro through his contacts in Brussels, and his thoughts, I have no doubt, will be invaluable to the local business community."

Local business people interested in attending can contact Karen Trafford on 01204 525474 for further details.
