The Market Place I do enjoy the Market Place,
In Bolton where I shop.
The friendly staff and cleaner,
It seems to have the lot.
The various stalls and cafes,
No need to ever get wet.
For all your family's wants and needs,
In here they'll all be met.
All on one ground level,
No need for different floors.
But please could you tell me,
Why no automatic doors?
We struggle with our buggies,
With wheelchairs it's a bind.
We just want to get in easily,
To the best shopping we can find.
So come on Market Place,
Don't keep us struggling any more.
Give us a wonderful present,
And install a hands-free door. By Lillian Grundy
