Thirty three per cent of people recently questioned in the survey, who had travelled to a country requiring vaccination against typhoid, had failed to protect themselves. And a staggering 40 per cent of people who visited a destination where they could pick up Hepatitis A, had not received the vaccine before jetting off.
To help travellers keep up-to-date, Pasteur Merieux MSD can provide travellers with a copy of their "handy record card". These small leaflets contain helpful tips and a space for travellers to keep a record of the vaccines they've had and when a booster is due."
Readers who would like a free travel record should send a S.A.E. to; Travel Record Card Offer, c/o 4, Bedford Square, London, WC1B 3RA.
