A SEX-SWAP Falklands veteran was set to take on the might of the military today in a fight for compensation.
Transsexual Lynda Cash was due to represent herself at a tribunal in Southampton this morning, claiming she was unfairly dismissed from her Naval post in 1986.
The Westhoughton woman - formerly Brian Waling - is also alleging sex discrimination and failure of duty of care in a hearing which is due to be completed in a day.
Lynda, 48, who served alongside Prince Andrew in the South Atlantic campaign as a theatre technician on board HMS Invincible, says she was never given a proper explanation when she was discharged.
Only last week, as she prepared for her fight, Lynda told the BEN she was confident that she would win her case.
She also revealed that she had finally received medical records which she claimed would prove "invaluable" as she fought her case at the employment tribunal.
