HORWICH-based Craftprint has gained the prestigious Investors in People Award for the second time.

The print company, which has a workforce of 16, first won the Award in 1994 and has now joined a select band by being officially re-recognised.

Craftprint was guided through the re-recognition process by Bolton and Bury Chamber, which was itself re-recognised as an Investor in People employer last summer.

Karen Hall, part of the Chamber's Workforce Development team, said: "Investors in People is about continuous best practice in developing your people to achieve organisational goals so it is vital to check standards at regular intervals.

"Craftprint have certainly integrated the Investors in People philosophy into the fabric of their business, so they re-gained the award with confidence."

Craftprint Director Andrew Tait said: "Putting people first is a winning business strategy for Craftprint.

"This offers us the stability that is so important to business success."
