WHILE New Rosemere AOS producer George Taylor is hard at work preparing for the society's March Gilbert and Sullivan double bill of Trial by Jury and HMS Pinafore, his wife, Sue, and daughter, Helen, are looking forward to a round-the-world trip on an expenses paid holiday.
Helen won the holiday in a competition organised by the Trafford Centre.
George and Sue are long-serving members of NRAOS and both have taken lead roles and been producers of shows for the society. Helen has also appeared in recent productions when her studies made it possible. She is at Durham University studying for a degree in Education.
Set construction for the production is now completed, thanks to hard work by the stage crew, and the decoration team are working hard painting the sets.
NRAOS received a good response from BEN readers following a plea in Centre Stage for naval advice.
But the society is still looking for a Wardrobe Mistress. The job entails alterations/adaptations to hired costumes during the period March 4 to 13.
If you are interested contact Gill Tonge - 01204 302663 - after 5 pm for details.
Tickets for the show, which runs from March 9 to 13, are available from Patricia Killeen on 01204 522048.
Note the society's new logo which has been designed by David Butcher.
