Christmas is over, we can now count the cost.

Turkey for ever, Christmas pud and mince pies.

My trousers won't fit, they did before.
Had a gusset fitted, but what an eyesore.
Got a pullover, to cover the guilty spot.
It fits where it touches, but won't cover the lot.
Will watch the slimming programme tonight at eight.
See if they can come up with the answer, on how to lose weight.
We look at at each other, but don't know where to begin.
