Support the Octagon

IN response to your article on the Octagon's cash crisis, I would like to point out that, although most people in the town claim they would go to the Octagon if a Northern comedy were on, they don't in fact put their money where their mouth is. I go to the Octagon a lot and recently called to the Box Office to book for their next show Pat and Margaret by Victoria Wood. I was amazed that there were still good seats left for each performance! I wholly expected to struggle to get tickets because it is a northern comedy!
