MURDER squad detectives were following up new leads today in the hunt for the brutal killer of Halliwell pensioner Daniel McFadden.
Officers in the incident room took a series of calls from the public offering fresh clues following yesterday's report in the BEN revealing new information in the inquiry.
As reported last night, detectives believe the tattered remains of a badly burned wallet found alongside Mr McFadden's body could lead them to the killer. Anyone with information can call the murder room hot-line on 0161 856 5961/5962 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
