GOOD employers have nothing to fear from the Government's proposed Fairness at work Bill, according to Bolton North-east MP, David Crausby.
The Bill to assist the employment rights of millions of workers was announced in the House of Commons on Thursday.
Mr Crausby said: "I have waited 20 long years for the concerns and rights of workers and trade unionists to be addressed."
He went on: "Most workers will not need to take advantage of the rights in this Bill, but it will give them the confidence and assurance that protection is on hand should the need arise."
The Bill will give workers extended maternity leave to 18 weeks, time off work for family emergencies and protection against unfair dismissal.
