I recently spent a week in the Royal Bolton Hospital's Women's Healthcare Unit on H3 ward. The care that I was given by Mr R Hopkins and his team of medical and nursing staff was second to none. From my first consultation, through all the preliminary tests and checks and right through to my operation and discharge I was given information and involved in every decision that was taken.
Nursing staff work extremely hard and more demands are being made of them, they certainly deserve to be paid salaries that reflect their increasing responsibilities, I hope that this government recognises that need very soon before we lose more nurses.
Thank you to everyone who helped me through my spell in hospital
