CHILDREN were left toyless after callous burglars stole everything from their after school club.
The Kidzone club, for 5 to 11 year olds, at the United Reformed Church, Albert Road, Farnworth, was targeted on Wednesday night only two months after thieves stole all their electrical equipment.
This time the thieves, who broke a window to gain entry, cleared the lot - the microwave, all the food from the cupboards, a first aid box and even unopened Christmas presents that were awaiting children away on holiday.
Every single lock was broken in the break-in.
Proprietor and playworker Margaret Charlton said: "They didn't leave a cupboard or a box unopened."
She added: "At the end of the day it is making the children suffer. It's not fair to the kids. They all had to go and sit in a mini bus yesterday because we just couldn't let them in."
The building is now going to be fitted with a burglar alarm and the club is planning some fund-raising jumble sales and raffles. But in the future no equipment will be left in the premises overnight.
