I would just like to state my views on the Glenn Hoddle issue. I am not a fan of his and never have been. But getting back to his remarks, has everyone forgotten that God said them first? One of His pronouncements was - The sins of the fathers upon the third and fourth generation. Couldn't that have been what he was trying to say. He wasn't blaming people who are disabled - just sorry they had inherited something from the past.
The real issue though was most people wanted him out because of football and his religion and the way to do it was get some reporter to trap him into saying something other than football and he fell into it. Perhaps other people in the limelight should take heed. Reporters of newspapers know that it's their job to get a story at any price..
