DETECTIVES are hunting two armed robbers who carried out an early morning raid at a Whitefield snooker hall.
Several customers were herded into toilets before the raiders broke into fruit machines and stole cash as well as the day's takings and float.
The drama happened at the Whitefield Snooker Centre in Albert Close at 12.30am today.
The raiders, one armed with a gun and the other with a baseball bat, ordered the customers into toilets.
During this process, a male customer suffered a two inch head gash after being hit with the bat. He was later treated in hospital.
Detectives say the contents of the fruit machines and the takings amounted to "several hundred pounds".
The raiders also stole several mobile phones belonging to customers.
One of the robbers was 5ft 8inch tall and wearing brown "Kicker" shoes, black Nike jogging pants and a black jacket. The seccond was 6ft tall and wore Reebok trainers. Both wore balaclavas.
Anyone with information is asked to ring Whitefield CID on 0161-856-8240.
