I have just read an article describing David Crausby's call for a ban on children's adverts, in utter disbelief. Does the man have nothing better to do with his time than meddle with our lives?
First he wants to ban fireworks outright, now he wants to control what our children watch. What next? Will he tell us what time to go to bed at night? Will he cut up our food for us?
My children watch these commercials but are told that they can only have what we can be afforded. What is wrong with that? If Mr Crausby has so much time on his hands perhaps he should begin meeting some of his constituents and doing what he was elected to do instead of moaning about fireworks and kids TV adverts.
