THE Bolton Business Information Service is to run its KIC project (Knowledge, Information and Commerce) for a further three years.
Rhonda McPhail, Senior Information Officer, is to continue to develop this area specialising in supporting innovation and technology for Bolton area businesses.
She said: "We can offer services such as patent and trademark searches from a variety of online, Internet and CD-ROM databases as well as general information on intellectual property rights such as copyright and design rights."
The Service has access to mailing lists, market reports, tenders information and company financials.
The Bolton Business Information Service is part of the Economic and Physical Development Unit within Bolton Council's Environment Department.
It is also a joint branded partner with Business Link Bolton and Bury.
The Business Information team is available on Bolton 397013.
