AN inquest was being held in Wigan today into the death of a former Bolton girl who is thought to have died from the effects of the designer drug GHB.
Andrea Murphy, aged 25, collapsed after a night out in which she took a small amount of the drug Gamma Hydroxy Butyrate - sold in clubs as an ecstasy substitute.
Shortly after her death last year, her parents Patrick and Kath, who live in Lostock, issued an emotional warning about the dangers of the drug.
Andrea lived in Park Avenue, Wigan, close to a restaurant where she worked as catering manager.
She was a former pupil of Haslam Park Primary School and The Deane School in Bolton.
