IT had to come once again, teachers griping over their pay awards. Some head teachers are getting 66pc rise more than them. Can't they see that it gives them ammunition to use in future awards, not that they deserve it?
As a matter of interest to the public, I would be interested to know just how many teachers are married to teachers. These people ar taking excellent salaries for what they do into their homes. Also I would like to know how many teachers are children of former teachers. They can't be that badly off if they have been lucky enough to follow the same profession. In my view they should be pleased with what they have got and get on with it.
The public hear about strikes, but we don't hear of any resignations. And these long summer holidays should not be paid for either.
