Now the firm at Fowler Industrial Estate on Chorley New Road, are looking for new staff. And managing director Bowling said his premises are ideally suited to people with disabilities.

He gained experience of working with severely disabled people on church trips to Lourdes.

"We feel very strongly that physical disablement should not be detrimental to potential employers opening their minds to full-time employment for the disabled," he said.

"We are constantly on the look-out for highly skilled people who, for one reason or another, have been unable to secure permanent employment.

"If there's anybody out there in a wheelchair who feels they may have the experience and qualifications in the specific areas of marketing and management, please apply."

"There are far too many product lines to mention, but basically we supply everything but the instruments themselves."

Although Giraffe Products are one of the few companies making these product in this country, there is competition from Italy, Germany, China and many other countries.
