THE MORAN Picture the scene in those far off days,
When the past was so different in so many ways.
As you gaze at the Moran portrait with pride,
The adoration to see it you just cannot hide.
You can almost see the stagecoach riding over the plain,
To their destination and then back again.
The cowboys travelled the prairie wide,
With their bows and arrows by their side.
You can capture the scene of days long ago,
For Thomas Moran's paintings make it so.
For his landscape painting is a wonderful treasure,
May his memory live on for ever and ever. By Jean Sandiford
