CO-founder, lead vocalist and guitarist of the legendary, Dr Hook, Dennis Locorriere makes a long overdue visit to Bolton on Thursday, March 4, to promote his first solo album, together with the release of the compilation LP, Love Songs of Dr Hook. It was Dennis Locorriere's distinctive vocals which were the driving force behind Dr Hook's phenomenal world wide success, with the band receiving over 60 Gold and Platinum discs from across the globe. Hits such as A Little Bit More, Only Sixteen, Sharing the Night Together, Sexy Eyes, when You're In Love with a Beautiful Woman, and of course the classic, Sylvia's Mother, all featured Dennis as lead vocalist.

Dennis was the key player in Dr Hook from their humble beginnings, right through to their farewell tour in 1985. However, the band's popularity is as strong as ever. In 1992, the Completely Hooked, retrospective reached number two in the UK album charts.

A respected songwriter, Dennis has written and produced songs for Olivia Newton John, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Lou Rawls, Crystal Gayle, and or course, Dr Hook.

Tickets for the show in Bolton are on sale now from the Albert Halls Ticket and Information Centre on 364333.
