THE Reebok will be home from home for Richard Sneekes tomorrow. The former Wanderers midfielder makes his first visit to the Lostock stadium, which lies within a couple of hundred yards of the house he lived in during his Burnden days and which he still owns . . . at least for the time being!

The Dutch master-blaster is in the process of selling the property as he prepares to make his fourth appearance against Wanderers since leaving the club for West Brom in a £385,000 deal in March, 1996.

He is likely to be joined by his former Burnden team-mate and fellow Dutch national Fabian DeFreitas, who signed for the Baggies on a free transfer from Spanish club Osasuna in August and made an immediate impact. The two-goal hero of Wanderers' 1995 Play-off Final triumph over Reading has not scored since he netted his third of the season against Watford on October 4 but has recovered from recent injury problems to regain his place alongside the prolific Lee Hughes - the top scorer in England with 28 goals - 27 of which have come in the league. Such is Hughes' impact that he has scored more than half of Albion's Division One goals and his nearest challengers for the Top Gun prize at The Hawthorns are Kevin Kilbane, James Quinn and Shaun Murphy, who have all scored four apiece!

Baggies' boss Denis Smith is still without Micky Evans, who was injured in the 1-1 draw with Grimsby a fortnight ago, but has Italian midfielder Enzo Maresca available again.

Squad: Whitehead, Holmes, Carbon, Burgess, Murphy, Potter, Quinn, Mortolazzi, Sneekes, Kilbane, Hughes, DeFreitas, Maresca, Flynn, Angel, Miller.
