NOW that the Government have implemented the public sector pay settlement, some workers will be worse off as a result of Labour's creeping taxes.
It is important that the recommendations of the Pay Review Body are implemented, but when you take into account even a few of Labour's taxes, the value of the rises is vastly reduced. In fact, some public sector workers will be worse off than before.
Labour promised before the election not to put up taxes. Their attempt to hide behind stealth tactics cannot hide the fact that they have broken their pledge. Now hard working people are paying the price.
