THERE is no doubt that legally and morally seven-years-old Christopher Lomax should be returned to Britain.
The child is 3,000 miles away from his father and friends in a village close to Athens.
European law demands that Chrisotpher should be brought back to Bolton while a custody battle is fought, but a Greek judge has refused to comply with this.
The Greek authorities should not be allowed to get away with this.
As we have stated before, the most important person in this messy legal wrangle is Christopher. His needs should be paramount. And we do not feel they are best served by him being kept away from his father.
Ian Lomax was in tears after his Greek trip with a BEN reporter and photographer ended in him being unable to see his son.
We can only guess at the state little Christopher was in.
The BEN is continuing its campaign to raise money to pay for Mr Lomax's legal costs to fight the case. The happiness and wellbeing of a child is at stake.
