CAROLE Butler and Andrew Close are directed by Jim and Audrey Lias in Bolton Little Theatre's production of Bernard Slade's Same Time, Next Year from February 20 to 27.
The comedy in two acts was a Broadway hit and then a successful film starring Alan Alda and Ellen Burstyn.
The play reflects the changes in society over 25 years of American post-war history.
We first meet Doris and George in 1951 as a young married couple. However, they are not married to each other, but have met by chance on a weekend in February and fallen in love.
They stay with their families, but meet for one weekend each year - same time, same place.
The play will be staged in BLT's Forge Theatre and tickets are available from the Albert Halls ticket Centre (01204 364333 and 371688) and the Theatre Box Office - between 6 and 8 pm - on 01204 524469.
