A REVOLUTIONARY leather reclining chair ideal for massaging away aches, pains and stress, has been stolen from the showroom of a Bolton store.
Crooks moved in on the £2,000 chair just two weeks after Mr Mohammed Khan proudly installed it in his showroom on St Georges Road, Bolton.
Thieves smashed their way into the showroom of High Furnishing, before taking the large black leather chair on Monday night.
Mr Khan, who has reported the theft to the police, said: "I have never known anything like this.
"I am devastated."
But despite his setback, he remained defiant, saying: "This chair is a new model to Bolton and I am determined I will not let the people in this town down. I will be contacting the chair's manufacturers again, and will be replacing the chair."
He added: "I bought the chair two weeks ago and installed it in the showroom to undertake demonstrations. Boltonians will have never seen anything like it before. I was going to invite doctors and GPs to see the chair for themselves, as it could be recommended for patients with back problems."
Anyone able to help track the chair down should contact Bolton Police Station on 0161 872 5050 or Crimestoppers 0800 555111.
