FRANK Hayman of Paulhan Street, Daubhill, has hit the nail on the head when he says that there is a groundswell of public yearning to make the area a better place in which to live.
He's right. We believe that the majority of the residents are decent folk who want to live in harmony with their neighbours.
That is why we urge the people in the area to attend a public meeting which will be held next Thursday at Sunnyside Community Centre.
Councillors, police and housing officers will be attending but the really important people are the residents. We hope they will support this important initiative.
