THE new licensees of an Astley Bridge pub are discovering the benefits of being near Bolton's newest nightclub.
Liz Ecroyd and Dave Ogden have just taken over at the Three Pigeons on Blackburn Road.
The team, who used to run the Farmers' Arms in Darcy Lever, arrived just in time for the opening of Atlantis at the nearby Valley Centertainment complex.
Liz said: "It's proving to be very popular and people are coming here for a lively atmosphere and entertainment before they go down to the club."
Reduced entry coupons for the nightclub are available in the pub.
The Three Pigeons is set to have a small reurbishment during the next few weeks.
