DREAM ON When I was small,

I had my picture taken with a ball.

The picture man was Mr Fox,

He took it with a magic box.

For this picture of me I was brought to town,

The picture man's price was half a crown.

So I had to smile and not to frown,

It's not in colour but a type of brown.

It sat on the sideboard for all to see,

Passed round relations when they came to tea.

It was Mum and Dad's pride and joy,

Their one and only little boy.

As I am no longer small,

In fact you could say rather tall.

I still look at that picture now on the wall,

And think of that little boy with a ball.

Can we try again Mr Fox,

Take my picture with your magic box?

Not however with a ball or balloon,

This time make it a "silver spoon". By Arnold Harrison
