A CHALLENGING but rewarding future is being offered by Bolton Mountain Rescue Team who are looking for more volunteers to join their ranks.
The team, which celebrated its 30th anniversary last year, has recently lost several members due to family and work commitments.
Last year was the busiest-ever for the team, attending 62 call-outs and incidents and a total of eight so far this year.
Anyone of either sex who is aged 18 and above and who has hillwalking experience or a similar background can take part in the selection process.
Potential members are asked to fill in an application form and then are invited to attend an introductory evening and full-day outdoor session on March 10 and March 14.
Full training will be given to everyone chosen.
More details can be obtained from team leader Garry Rhodes on 01942 886817.
