TOMMY Schramm's big Reebok trial ended in disappointment last night.
The Danish midfielder, hoping to win a contract with Wanderers, limped off after just 16 minutes of his second appearance for the reserves leaving Colin Todd back to square one in his search for cover for his promotion chasing squad.
The 27-year-old Herfolge part-timer, was offered a second chance after impressing in the 2nd Xl's win at West Brom last week but suffered a groin injury in the opening exchanges last night and, had no alternative but to withdraw.
Todd had hoped the former Brondby player could offer experienced cover for the promotion run-in after making a number of enquiries on the home market without success.
He could now switch his attention to Rangers midfielder Derek McInnes, a player he has checked on recently and could be a target for a loan signing.
