BOLTON'S brewer John Feeney is toasting the success of his beer making operation with the launch of another new tipple this week.

Sir Lamarack, officially launched last night, is the seventh in a series of 12 beers named after the Knights of King Arthur's Round Table produced by the Bank Top Brewery.

The first pints of the new pale bitter were officially pulled at the Waggon and Horses on the A6 at Westhoughton at a party hosted by licensees Pete and Sylvia.

John said: "I'm determined to complete the set of 12 beers named after the nights. During my research I discovered that there were actually 150 knights - but I think I'll stop at a dozen and go on to something else!"

The eighth beer in the set will be launched at the Bob's Smithy pub, Chorley Old Road, once John has perfected the brew.
