IT looks like Bolton is in the midst of an exciting cultural revival - exhibitions on every corner and town centre cafes and restaurants displaying work from local artists.
One such artist, award-winning, 27-year-old James Naughton from Barrow Bridge, has teamed up with the owners of the Patagonia Cafe on Bradshawgate to exhibit his collection of recent work.
"I'm really pleased that some of Bolton's retailers are displaying original art," says James. "The cultural environment and competitive edge in the town can only benefit from initiatives like this.
"There's a huge number of fantastic artists in Bolton whose work can now be seen by the public who, of course, play a part in its development."
James's exhibition can be see upstairs in the Patagonia on Bradshawgate until the end of April.
