THIS government is spending millions of pounds on an intense campaign to promote (brainwash) the public into accepting the euro.
This money should be better spent on hospitals, schools etc. Tony Blair has promised the people a referendum on voting for or against the euro.
I'll predict a massive no vote for the euro.
The euro would be fine if Britain was only trading in Europe, but we have world wide global exports.
The country has spent over 20 years of dabbling on the fringes of Europe and we now are the poor relations of it.
We have the lowest wages, lowest pensions and the longest working hours and highest taxes in Europe.
Another example is the cost of diesel fuel over 60p per litre in our country and only between 34p to 41p in Europe.
If car drivers put £10 of petrol in their cars in this country, £8 of that goes in tax. Just where is all this money going?
