I am a Radio Ham and I have been contacted by a Radio Ham from New Zealand requesting help in tracing relatives in Bolton to add to his family tree.

His name is: William R. Hamer, age 74, of Seatoun, New Zealand.

All he knows is that his grandfather was born on February 4, 1861, at 21 Ridgway Gates, Bolton

His grandfather's mother was Alice Hamer and his grandfather's father was Joseph Hamer who worked as a mason.
