IT'S certainly ironic that on the day that Judge Gillian Ruaux, presiding over an armed robbery case, highlights the vulnerability of Little Lever Post Office, a further raid occurs there.
Residents and local shopkeepers are bound to be very concerned when the Post Office is seen as a "soft target" by criminals. It is certainly a sad indictment of the times that security has to be considered above customer convenience.
