THE hotly anticipated compilation CD from Warrington-based Resolution Records, featuring six of the finest unsigned bands on the current scene, including Bolton-based Flood, hits the streets on Tuesday.
And DNA (Dawn of the New Alternative) has already garnered celebrity endorsements - and that's before release.
Dave Vitty from the Chris Moyles show on Radio One has led the way describing Resolution as a "fantastic initiative which should be taken seriously by all in the business of music."
Other endorsements have come from BMG, Sony and Apollo 444. and if that wasn't enough there has also been considerable A&R interest from Chrysalis, Epic, Warner and London Records.
To coincide with the release of the CD there are two showcase gigs. Feel headline at Elemental in Manchester with support from Agent Cooper and Twister on Tuesday, March 23. and the second showcase takes place in April at the Band on the Wall in Manchester. This will feature live performances from Flood, Chevron, and Thinner.
