WOULD the person who is saving £12,000 per year by closing the toilets at 6pm at the Town Hall issue a list of the public conveniences that they intend closing at 6pm because I can't find any open, even at midday.
There is a toilet in Back Cheapside which I have seen being locked at 5pm, not 6pm. There used to be a toilet in a prefabricated building, but that part was sealed off months ago.
They are either locked or boarded up. I am aware that some of the toilets do get vandalised, but does this mean every body must suffer?
You see the bus shelters vandalised every day, but we don't see them being removed or boarded up. They just replace the glass daily. This must also be at the ratepayers' expense, so what's the difference?
