National Schools Cross Country, Luton
Performance of the week must belong to Katie Ingram. Representing Lancashire schools in the National Cross Country Championships she finished an incredible 13th out of 334 girls.
Katie, who attends St Michael's CE missed out on representing the Home Internationals by just 12 seconds.
She was the first Lancashire girl and helped to win the county the bronze team prize.
She was supported by Victoria Snape, from Parklands who finished 105th. She will have the opportunity of improving her position next year. Both girls are members of Chorley Harriers.
