They want to give us fluoride,
In every cup of tea.
They want to give us fluoride,
To flush the lavatory.
We'll have to soak in fluoride,
Each time we take a bath.
Or wash the clothes and dishes,
They don't do things by half!
Minority wishes nowadays,
Would seem to override.
The general good in most things,
And it's the same with fluoride.
Willy nilly we must pay,
Several pence a week.
To have our water tampered with,
And never chance to speak,
By way of referendum,
As to how we feel.
Let everybody please themselves,
Would surely be ideal.
Some folk may wish for fluoride,
In toothpaste or small pill.
Which could be discontinued,
If they started feeling ill.
But once it's in our water,
There'll be no turning back.
And time grows short so let's close ranks,
To fend off this attack. By Sheila Cook
