UP to the age of 19 years, I lived at 9 Ainslie Road, Bolton. I am now 64 years old. My maiden name was Pearl.
I have two sisters - Irene who lives in USA, and Winifred in Australia. My mother, Mary Pearl, is still alive and living in Australia with my sister Winifred. She is now 96 years old.
My sister, Irene, and I are anxious to make contact with some of our cousins who we lost touch with. Our parents were known to them as Auntie Polly and Uncle Billie.
The cousins are Colin Pearl, son of Maggie and George (both deceased) who used to live in Melrose Avenue, and cousins Alice, Jim and Edward Sykes. With their late mother Maggie Sykes, they lived in Commission Street. This, I believe, has been demolished.
My sister, Irene, plans to come over again next year and visit Bolton. It would be nice to meet and find out how they all are.
