MAY I urge your readers not to miss their last chance to apply for a Help the Aged Millennium Award.
If you are 60 or over and live in a rural area, the Help the Aged Millennium Awards are for you.
Awards of between £1,000 and £10,000 are available to help you turn your ideas into reality and use your skills and life experience to benefit your rural community.
Among more than 250 wonderful projects which have so far shared over £1 million are gardening clubs, tea dances, Internet training, lunch clubs, exercise classes, support groups, and newsletters.
Whatever your idea, make sure your application reaches us by 31 March 1999. For more information and an application form ring Help the Aged's Millennium Awards team on 0171 250 4477 today.
