I NOMINATE as Rats of the Week, the thieves who stole my son's stereo and CD player from his car, that was locked inside his friend's garage. The Kenwood stereo and CD player worth around £800 and six CDs, were only fitted the week before, and were supposed to be anti theft.

My son works hard for a living and he has a heart condition, and already has had two heart operations. He works hard to buy luxuries for his car. The thieves must have been watching his movements to know where his car was parked.

I hope the thieves rot in hell for the upset they have caused my son and my family. His first car that he got last year was badly vandalised by a gang of thugs. He had to pay for that to be repaired, also out of his own pocket. It all boils down to jealousy and greed.
