I REFER to the article on the fluoridation of our water supply. Both Ruth Kelly MP and Brian Iddon MP are backing this force feeding of fluoride to the population of Bolton, in spite of the decision of the vast majorityto reject it at the 1968 referendum.
Also quite a number of scientists are worried about the possible side effects of this action. The emphasis is so biased on the side of dental hygiene, that one wonders whether any side effects are fully monitored. Surely in a democracy, this vital decision must be decided by a second referendum.
After all, fluoride can be obtained through tablet or toothpaste usage.
