Smithills School and Bolton Sixth Form College music Departments present their 1999 Spring Term Concert on Wednesday March 24, in the Smithills School Hall at 7.30 pm.
The concert features all the school and college's bands, choirs, soloists ensembles and, for the first time, a new orchestra.
This will be the last public engagement before the Senior Brass Band flies off to Tokyo, 10 days after the concert. Organisers are hoping the evening will provide a great send-off for the young musicians who will perform in Japan.
Seats for the concert, which is sponsored by Fort James UK Limited, Keogh Ritson Solicitors and Arthur Sanderson & Sons Ltd, are available only from Smithills School reception on 01204 842382. The concert is usually sold out in advance and it may not be possible to buy tickets at the door on the night.
