WITH recent rates increased, road taxes up again for riding on dirt tracks, fuel costs up again, cigs up again, it's no wonder there are so many companies going bust. Then there's the number of people redundant. They can't afford to travel to work. Public transport costs are far too high for the level of service we get. Many routes have been taken off after 8pm.
In my book if anyone increases road tax and fuel costs to drive people to public transport, the transport costs should be reduced to attract more people. But the Government waste money at both ends.
