CLLR Paul Fitzpatrick claims the class sizes of infant schools will be reduced thanks to his Labour Government. How many of these reductions will be due to the declining number of pupils, as reported in the BEN? Does he not bother to read the BEN? By 2002, Bolton will have a surplus of more than 5,000 desks in schools. Will Labour claim responsibility for this?
For current classes, will their sizes actually be reduced, or will the teacher to pupil ratio simply be increased (two teachers per class rather than one)?
Why have the Labour party enlisted the help of local councillors to spread the word according to Campbell? Have they lost all confidence in their three Bolton MPs or are they just not up to this little job?
