I DISAGREE with Brian Derbyshire's letter in the BEN, March 11, about charging to use the public toilets.
I travel by bus into town and find that I have to visit the toilets at least once - more in cold weather. I notice the suggestion came from a man. When there was a charge before, the male population only paid if they were going into a cubicle.
A visit to the toilet is a necessity and people with medical problems, senior citizens, pregnant women - in fact no-one should be charged.
I agree with AE Ivers about the building of super loos at Farnworth Bus Station when there were adequate ones there before.
